maquette Gaucheret

A quick study model made with the Lasercutter for the ongoing competition 'Gaucheret', which Urban Platfrom (the office I work for) is participating in. The model is based of a 3D model I made; the buildings were "unfolded" within sketchup using the 'flattery' plugin. The unfolded models were then cut and finally 'refolded' to create the final model. 

The same technique was used in an earlier model I made for Urban Platform.
