Makehuman generated body 3D printing.

by LCA

First exercise to train myself on the pratical use of the Ultimaker 3D printer and Cura.

As a start, I generated a female human body using MakeHUman (www.makehumancommunity.org).

Then I createdd a new pose using Blender.

Still with Blender I generated the .stl file to feed in Cura.

Then printing with  the Ultimaker2+  printer.

Main issues: (too) many  supports generated by Cura to support a (most probably) (too much) complex figure. and then very long time to clean up the figure after printing with a Dremel.

Still thinking  on how to to reduce the number of support in order to failitate the post-cleaning.
