laser shelfs

Hi,

I've made a construction made of shelfs. The design itself is made of triplex, cut only by a lasercutter. the joints I used Are made with a difference of 0.3mm

The construction itself exists of 11 pieces, all designed to fit eachother.

The laser gave a nice color to outline the 'cream'- color of the plating.

On a 1:1 scale it would be used as furniture (storage).

I started of making some mistakes (for example: joints didn't fit, not enough stability,...). Learning from my mistakes I refined the product to a much more open object

than it was before. It's now stable enough and i'm happy with the outcome of my design.
